Body dysmorphia, also known as body dysmorphic disorder (BDD), is a mental health condition where a person spends a lot of time worrying about flaws in their appearance. These flaws are often unnoticeable to others. People with BDD may excessively focus on one or more parts of their body, which may change over time. The most common features people tend to fixate on include the face, hair, skin, breast size, muscle size and tone, and genitalia.
